last week ella impressed us when she said she would much rather camp out than spend the night going to a kids’ concert at the coffee shop. we were secretly hoping the kids’ concert would peak her interest and that we’d just camp for one night. she REALLY wanted to camp though, and was an amazing hiker, not complaining about the hilly 1+ mile hike in.
this morning, bill checked the weather and there was a chance of rain. so, he decided he was going to drive for the first time this week. ella responded to this news vehemently with ‘no, don’t drive. we should bike with the trail-a-bike!’
we were both so proud that she loves being outside so much and appreciates hiking and biking so much.
