HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
the past few days have been on continuous halloween celebration. on satuday, we started off with a running race. ella and fiona both participated in the dracula dash, while i did the great pumpkin chase 5k. the girls won an award for best kid’s costume for the second year running! (all credit goes to grandma sandy!).
after that, we headed home for lunch and then to the science museum of minnesota for boo-ology. another costume contest, and another win for our flower fairies! the brought home a gothic garden kit, a pumpkin carving kit, and a few treats. they had a great time doing all the spooky activities at the science museum too. AND they were giving away pumpkins!
tosay we had a regular monday - ella off to school, fi and i off to ecfe, bill off to work - but then spent the afternoon getting ready for a small neighborhood potluck at our house. after that, we headed out to gather as little candy as possible while still getting the full halloween experience. the girls had a good time.
