3 days of house cleaning!

We had a fun birthday dinner at Andy’s Garage on Friday, where Ella got an inflatable pink flamingo and paper model of a ‘55 chevy and purple sunglasses. Saturday we spent mostly cleaning (and a lot of Friday as well). Since the weather called for more rain and the ground was already soaked, we opted for the house party rather than at the park. Sunday morning was a bunch of last-minute cleaning, then grilling in the rain.
It was a lot of fun despite the weather - Ella had a lot of friends over, got some very cool presents, and we have a wonderfully clean house. Not even average clean, even beyond the normal spring cleaning. We even cleaned the piles of papers and stuff that had been shuffled aside in past cleanings.
And by “we” i really mean Autumn. She’s the master cleaner for these big projects; i helped mostly by keeping the kids entertained and out of the temporary piles of stuff.
