well, yesterday was e’s 2nd bday party. it was quite fun for everyone and the weather cooperated, with highs in the upper 60s. guests included grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousin luarel, and friends sage and ben (and their parents, of course). the kids had fun playing in e’s new sandbox, running in the yard, and jumping on the trampoline grandma and grandpa clark got her. we had fresh, organic brats and burgers from grass-fed beef (all from a farm in wisconsin), fruit salad, potato salad, tomato/basil/mozzerella salad, chips, corn on the cob, and carrot cake with vanilla ice cream. ella also really enjoyed having grandma connell here for a visit.
