| Story: | Had this at a friend's house and hounded her until she handed the recipe over. She's gone now but every time we have the casserole, we think of her. |
| Ingredients: | 1/2 c. chopped onion 1/2 stick margarine 1 small jar Cheese Whiz 1 to 1-1/2 cans Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 c. Minute Rice, uncooked 1 family size bag or frozen broccoli cuts |
| Directions: | Saute onion in margarine. Fix minute rice, set aside. Thaw, steam broccoli cuts. Add cheese whiz and cream of mushroom soup to sauted onions. stir. Add cooked rice to cheese mixture. Add drained, cooked broccoli to mixture. Place in casserole dish. Bake 350 for 45 minute to 1 hour. (covered) This is a hit at potluck dinners! |
